Researchers have discovered an Australian fruit, called Finger lime, contains an anti-aging power of ‘citrus caviar.” The small pearls that are found in the flesh of finger limes have become the most trending and must-have cosmetic product for those who are trying to get rid of their wrinkles.

The researchers found that finger limes are loaded with high vitamin C – more than 40 times higher than in blueberries.

Vitamin C helps reduce the skin spots and appearance of wrinkles. The higher concentration of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) in the lime has also been found effective at breaking down dead skin cells, leaving your skin supple, softer, and smoother.

A new face cream containing the flesh of finger limes is set to hit shelves this month in the United Kingdom.

Also called ‘jewels of fruits,’ finger limes, are found in tropical rainforests in Queensland, Australia.

The pearl-like moisture balls inside the tough green flesh of the fruit also have nine different types of vitamin C, vitamin B and hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is one of the miracle molecules found naturally in our body’s skin, hair, joints, nerves, and eyes. The new face cream has been found effective in trials, as eight out of 10 women reported “improved skin moisture within 24 hours of application,” with 60 percent of them said their skin felt less dry after a couple of days.
