Porn star Ron Jeremy, 67, is facing an additional 20 counts of sexual assault charges, forcible rape, sexual battery, sodomy, and more, said the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
Jeremy, whose legal name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt, was initially charged in June with several counts of sexual assault, including three rape. However, he pleaded not guilty to those charges.
On Monday, prosecutors announced 20 more charges against Jeremy, with allegations that he has sexually assaulted 13 women since 2004.
The sexual charges include six counts of “sexual battery by restraint, five counts of forcible rape, three counts of forcible oral copulation, two counts of forcible penetration by a foreign object and one count each of sodomy, assault with intent to commit rape, penetration by a foreign object on an unconscious or sleeping victim and lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl.”
According to prosecutors, Jeremy sexually assaulted the 15-year-old girl at a party in 2004. Furthermore, they alleged that he assaulted a woman as recently as New Year’s Day this year.
CNN has tried to reach out to Jeremy’s lawyer, who pleaded not guilty to the new charges on Monday. Another court date has been scheduled for October 28.
The porn star could be sentenced to up to 250 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Jeremy is in jail in Los Angeles and is being held on $6.6 million bail, according to online court records.
Jeremy is one of the icons of the adult entertainment industry, making his way into the Guinness Book of World Records for “Most Appearances in Adult Films.” He has appeared in over 2,200 movies. He was also the subject of the documentary “Porn Star: The Legend of Ron Jeremy.”
In 2015, he told CNN about almost dying from an aortic dissection in 2013.
