Though Pam Grier is a cancer survivor, she is not in the middle of another battle, in spite of some recent social media rumors. In fact, she has been in remission.
Several social media posts began to surface this week stating that Pam has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and battling for her life.
However, a rep for Pam has cleared the air and said the rumors are bogus … and she is as healthy as ever.
Her rep said Pam will be headed to work on season 3 of her ABC show, “Bless This Mess.” The 70-year-old puts in nearly 8 to 10 hours a day when she is working.
Pam was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer in 1988. At the time, she was given only 18 months to live. However, with aggressive treatment, Pam made a good recovery and since then, she has been in remission.
The Jackie Brown actress has had a good career in Hollywood. She also starred in a few shows, including Linc’s.
In recent years, Pam has appeared in a few films, including Poms and Bad Grandmas, and has been thriving on the small screen. It seems like she has no signs of slowing down anytime soon even at the age of 70.
