Police are looking for a man after an alleged armed robbery at a pharmacy in Saskatoon, a city in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The police said around 6:30 Wednesday evening, they were called to a pharmacy in the 100 block of Lenore Drive.
In a press release, Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) said the man reportedly had entered the pharmacy store with what was described as a black handgun and demanded drugs.
The police said the armed man then fled with an “undisclosed amount” of Viagra, Cialis, and Dilaudid.
Viagra (sildenafil) and Cialis (tadalafil) are the prescription drugs advised for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men, while Dilaudid (hydromorphone) is an opioid analgesic used to help relieve moderate to severe pain.
The suspect is described as being about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, glasses, a green/blue baseball cap, and a blue surgical mask.
SPS has asked anyone to contact the police with information about the incident.
In another Saskatoon incident, the police are looking for a man who was also wearing a mask is a connection with a robbery at the Sobeys liquor store in University Heights. On Tuesday at around 9.30 pm, it was reported the man entered the store with bear spray and a Taser, and demanded cash from a staff member. The suspect fled the scene with cash and liquor.
