American stand-up comedian, producer, and actor, Kevin Hart, got injured in a car crash along with two others in Calabasas, California, in the wee hours of Sunday.
California Highway Patrol reported the accident to CNN.
As per the report, Hart and his driver suffered major back injuries and were admitted to a hospital in the neighboring area for treatment.
Hart was traveling in one of his classic cars, a blue Plymouth Barracuda, when his driver, Jared Black, lost control and the car went off the Mulholland Highway in Malibu Hills.
The patrolling officers found out that the driver was not drunk at the time of the accident. The third passenger, a woman, did not suffer any major injuries.
CNN has sent an email to representatives for their comments.
The car in which Hart was traveling was his 40th birthday gift for himself. “Being home makes me happy….enjoy your weekend people!!!! #LiveLoveLaugh,” Hart posted on Instagram on Saturday.
