On Tuesday, Jessica Simpson revealed that she has lost around 100 pounds in six months after giving birth to her third child, Birdie, in March.
She wrote on Instagram and Twitter, “6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240). My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder,” with a heart emoji.
She shared how she previously weighed 240 pounds and now she is proud of losing such an incredible amount of weight.
Her celebrity friends praised her for achieving the goal of losing weight, with Odette Annable responding, “You look GOOOOOODDDDD!!!!!,” while Kyle Richards commented, “Gorgeous !!!!!!”
Along with Birdie, Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, are parents to Maxwell, 7 and Ace, 6.
Simpson had to face some health issues during her pregnancy. She had severe ankle swelling, sleeplessness, bronchitis, and anxiety.
On Wednesday, the 39-year-old star stepped out for ladies’ night and posted a sexy photo of herself in a little black dress, showing off her curves, with a caption, “NYC Ladies’ Night.” In order to get back in shape, the Blonde Ambition actress has been eating healthy and working out.
