Jessica Biel knows the significance of eating foods that can keep her satiated from movie sets to toddler playdates.
Recently, in an interview with LA Times, the American actress and wife of Justin Timberlake has credited cutting dairy and wheat from her diet to boost her overall health. She said, “I don’t have gluten or wheat or dairy. My digestion is better, I feel better, I have more energy.”
This does not mean she is depriving herself. Her diet included the menu that comes straight from your favorite health-food café.
Jessica and her family kick start their day with Paleo pancakes with some almond butter or cashew on top along with some local honey, chicken-apple sausages, and fresh juice.
Her lunch includes a quick salad with quinoa or veggie burgers, which are acquired from her family’s own garden.
She said, “And then dinner, if we’re home, it would be cooking up some salmon, some rice, grilling some vegetables, or going out and having some chicken, something a little heartier.”
He snacks include gluten-free pretzels with an almond cheese dip. She said, “It almost tastes like cream cheese, but no dairy.” Like all health enthusiasts, Biel realizes the importance of creating a healthy balance. She added, “Of course I have cheat-days and will go out and have, like, cookies and pizza.”
