Are you a big fan of intermittent fasting? If so, add Jennifer Aniston to your list of favorite celebs.
The Friends star said she had been following intermittent fasting and noticed a major difference.
In intermittent fasting, you need to fast for 16 hours a day and eat only in the remaining 8-hour period.
Aniston told Radio Time, “I do intermittent fasting, so there’s no food in the morning. I noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours.”
The 50-year-old gets up at 9 am each day and kick starts her day with drinks green juices and coffee. She said, “Today, I woke up and had a celery juice. Then I started to brew some coffee, but I don’t drink coffee that early.”
The Murder Mystery actress said she “meditated, worked out, and fed her dogs” before having a cup of coffee.
On the other hand, Aniston’s upcoming American drama web TV series, Morning Show, co-star Reese Witherspoon said she gets up at 5:30 or 6 am because of her 7-year-old son, Tennessee, who wakes her up. But, like Aniston, she sticks to her liquids in the morning.
Witherspoon, 43, said, “I just have a green juice and a coffee in the morning.”
The Wild actress also exercises in the morning. She said, “I find it really hard to work out before 7:30 am But that’s the time I start one; 7:30 am. I probably do that six days a week.” Witherspoon said she seeks Aniston’s advice for well-being because she believes Aniston knows a lot about health and fitness. Responding to Witherspoon, Aniston said, “Well, we want to thrive, right? We’re just beginning.”
