Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter Willow Smith have recently revealed that they considered getting a “BBL” (Brazilian butt lift), according to PEOPLE.
In a PEOPLE exclusive sneak peek of this week’s episode of Red Table Talk, they revealed that they have both considered getting a BBL in the past.
Jada told Willow and her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, “I’m glad we’re here talking about this today, the BBLs, because I was considering getting one.”
Willow exclaimed, “Me too!” However, Willow explained that she decided not to undergo the BBL procedure. She said, “I considered getting the tiniest little bit, but then I just got into the gym and got it anyway.”
Jada then recalled that she told her daughter to exercise to “build a butt” instead of getting it done through plastic surgery. She said, “I told her [Willow]. I said, ‘You want a butt? One thing your mother know how to do is build a butt.’ And you built it to the point that people thought you got surgery.”
Willow said to her mom, “No, you’re right.”
Adrienne then said that there is pressure to always look youthful. She said, “I just feel like there’s always so much more pressure on woman to look a certain way. You know it’s all about youth, so for somebody like me, the struggle has been extremely real.”
“Like I’ve had botox, then you get to the point where how much you’re gonna do,” she added. “but then it almost becomes addictive.”
Jada has always been open about cosmetic treatments in the past. In 2018, she revealed that she underwent vaginal rejuvenation to fix her bladder issues, according to PEOPLE.
At the time, she said, “When I tell you my yoni is like a 16-year-old, I’m not kidding. I’m talking about the outside. It looks like a little beautiful peach.” This story appeared on PEOPLE and Health.
