Jeremy Hunt was a canny entrepreneur before entering politics. He has been MP for South West Surrey since 2005.
He made millions through the sale of an education business that he co-founded but amassed a tidy amount of money by holding cabinet roles.

The former health minister was estimated to be worth around £14 million after selling his shares in his education company, Hotcourses, in 2017.
After holding the Health Secretary post from 2012 to 2018, Hunt became Foreign Secretary in 2018 after Boris Johnson resigned over Theresa May’s Brexit deal.
He has amassed a staggering sum during his time as a cabinet minister.
In April 2018, Hunt and his wife Lucia came under scrutiny after they found to have a property firm together. The Mare Pond Properties Limited business was found to buy seven luxury flats.
They were criticized because they did not register the business with Companies House.
According to reports, Boris Johnson is worth £1.5 million. He gets paid roughly £80,000 a year as MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip. In addition, he get £275,000 a year for writing his weekly column in the Daily Telegraph.
