Chrissy Teigen gets a touching tattoo in honor of her late son Jack, whom she lost after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
On Halloween, Teigen shared a photo of her and husband’s hands, revealing a new tattoo on her wrist featuring Jack’s name written in cursive script, according to Health.
The tattoo is located just above another tattoo Teigen got in honor of her family, reading “John – Luna – Miles,” a nod to her husband, their daughter Luna, and son Miles.
Tagine’s husband John Legend, 41, has a matching tattoo featuring the names, “Chrissy – Luna – Miles.”
Last week, the 34-year-old model announced her return to social media by penning down a heartbreaking essay about losing her son.
She wrote, “Late one night, I was told it would be time to let go in the morning. I cried a little at first, then went into full blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness.”
“Even as I write this now,” she continued, “I can feel the pain all over again.”
Teigen added, “Jack will always be loved, explained to our kids as existing in the wind and trees and the butterflies they see.”
“People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart,” she wrote. “A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full.” The article originally appeared on PEOPLE and Health.
