Big Tigger, the hip-hop legend and radio host, has recently undergone hip replacement surgery.

Known for his Atlanta radio show and BET hit TV show, “Rap City: Tha Basement” – Tigger shared about his surgery on his Instagram account.

On his Instagram post, Big Tigger posted a video saying, “I survived… Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes… Much love to Dr. Bradbury and the entire staff at #EmoryHospital… #SmockGang #ATL #GangstaLimp #BrandNewHip.”

Born as Darian Morgan, Big Tigger joined the television scene on voiceovers for Black Entertainment Television in 1996.

Fans started watching him on-camera, in Rap City’s “Hip Hop News.” He advanced to become one of the co-hosts of Rap City in its tenth season, alongside Joe Clair and Big Lez.

Tigger has a long history in the hip-hop game and fans have been praying for his full recovery. A total hip replacement is one of the major surgeries. Undergoing such surgery is a big decision. It is important to consider whether you are too young for hip surgery and you are likely to need it again in the future. However, there could be complications in delaying hip replacement surgery.
