Ariana Grande has jokingly responded to a magazine’s meme about how she washes hands amid coronavirus outbreak.

On Thursday, Paper Magazine took to Instagram to share a video titled “Ariana Grande washing her hands.”

The post has been on the internet since 2019, which humorously highlighted Grande’s habit of hiding her hands with the sleeves of her oversized pullovers.

The video shows a woman wearing a gray sweatshirt in the same style as Grande seems to wash her hands. The sleeves of her hoodie get wet as she puts her hands under the tap water.

Paper Magazine captioned the video, “Using this iconic video as a friendly reminder to wash! your! f****! hands!”

Grande responded, “Hate u all.”

This was not the first time she responded to a joke on her. In 2019, when the VFILES Instagram account posted a similar video, she left a witty remark in the comments section of the post.

She wrote, “Man if y’all don’t leave me alone,” adding, “this made me so anxious.”

The meme, known as “Ariana Grande‘s Sleeves” gained a lot of popularity on TikTok in 2019.

The video became popular on the social media platform. Many users started recreating memes by filming themselves performing daily tasks with their hands covered by their sweater sleeves.

The latest meme was shared amid ongoing concerns of the coronavirus epidemic and how to properly wash your hands to stop the spread of the virus.

So far, the coronavirus, aka COVID-19, has affected more than 98,000 and killed over 3,300 people globally.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says the best way you can protect yourself against COVID-19 is to wash your hands often, with the right technique for at least 20 seconds.

To thoroughly wash your hands, the CDC recommends wetting your hands under clean, running, preferably warm water, and using soap to cleanse your hands. The agency advises people to gently lather between the fingers, under the nails, and on the backs of hands for deep and thorough cleansing.
